    BlogMe

Mocha Momma has asked all those attending BlogHer to introduce themselves in ten seconds. I’m not going so I can’t do that, but then Her Bad Mother asked those not attending BlogHer to introduce themselves in ten seconds aswell. I can do that! So for those of you that don’t know me personally:

    - I’m a former academic but sometimes you may wonder if I have a single brain cell. Yes, I’m severely sleep-deprived and have been for about five and a half years now.

    - I have zero interest in fashion. I buy the basics but then I spend the rest of my money on books. When I grow up I’m going to own a book store. And I won’t need to buy any stock.

    - My childhood ambition was to be a helicopter pilot. I also suffer terribly from vertigo. I think perhaps I might have hated my job.

    - I’m shy so I love being a mother and having a ready-made circle of friends.

    - I’m really tall. But my sons are going to be between 6′2″ and 6′4″ and I can’t wait not to be the tallest person around here.

    Nice to meet you!

What a lot odd things we should have in common…with exception to the helicopter pilot ambition. I’m fairly certain I never had an interest in that…I did want to be a geologist for a time.

    Thanks for introducing yourself!
