‘Everything feels out of kilter at the moment.’
‘I know.’
‘Your father’s dying, the baby - who has struggled to put on any weight in the last five months - is now losing weight and is increasingly miserable, the dog is wasting away before our eyes, I’m getting absolutely no sleep. Everything feels wrong.’
‘I know.’
‘I wish I knew how to change things.’
‘Things will get better, you’ll see.’
‘But only after they’ve got worse first.’
‘Yes.’

It all sounds horrible. Hoping something will get better soon.
Oh hon I’m so sorry. Love to Matthew and you all. x
I really, really hope they don’t get worse first. Much love to you and yours.
When my mom died last December, I felt the same way. The sadness in our house was overwhelming - I don’t remember if it got worse, but I do know this…one year later things are better. Not great, but better.
I hope you can find some optimism amongst all this icky stuff! I’m so sorry.
Hang in there. It sounds like a really awful time for you. Hugs and best wishes for you, dad, and baby.
Oh, hon. I’ll keep you and your family in my prayers. Sending you a hug.
Keep your head up.
