It's very unlikely there will be any long term damage though so try not to worry, easier said than done though. By the way, this was a very funny post. And poor you. It's so hard when doctors don't listen. But, listen, my youngest had a UTI when she was about a year old that was misdiagnosed as a stomach virus (UTI's sometimes cause kids to vomit & have fevers) - and she went more than a week like that and she's fine now. Don't worry to much. Complications like permanent kidney damage are rare, not the norm. Oh, your poor little boy! And poor you. It’s so hard when doctors don’t listen.
