I’m having a baby! Four weeks pregnant

Warning: cue obligatory I-peed-on-a-stick-picture.
I am pregnant! And I am absolutely ecstatic.
My husband had a double whisky at the hotel he was staying at last night, and then another one (one for me and one for you, he said) by way of celebration. He really wants a big family and we’re certainly taking the right steps in that direction!
I’m only a few weeks along, but I can’t keep something like this a secret. If the worst occurs, well I would want people to know, even if it means having to tell strangers the bad news. And if I’m true to form I’ve got about a week before I start feeling sick morning, noon and night so it can’t remain a secret once that starts.
And clearly we’re having a girl, I mean the stick shows a pink spot, right? Pink for a girl. Isn’t it a blue line for a boy? How can the stick TELL?
Already loving this little baby inside me more than I can say. At least until I start feeling sick. Oh and I’m due right around Christmas and New Year. Good thing I got as pissed as I could last year then.
