We have friends visiting this weekend. They know that Harry and William are Thomas the Tank Engine mad. So they brought the latest DVD.When I got back from church this morning there was no sign of the boys. The sun in shining. The garden is full of lovely toys. Instead I found them here in their playroom where they had been, according to my husband, ‘for some time’.
So it’s up to me to be the wicked witch and confiscate their new DVD so that they don’t spend the entire day goggleboxing. Eldest Son will look at me with sad eyes. Second Son’s lower lip will pout and tremble before the tears of disbelief start. Oh I feel SO mean.
