Would somebody please take my children and make them nice

    By ella | February 22, 2005

When I was choosing a replacement site for my blog, I stuck with Blogger because frankly I have zero time to blog anyway, and less time than that to piss about with a blogging service.

Now that I have taken part in the program “Pimp My Blog” currently being filmed in this household I am sitting here thinking that, actually, I’d like to pimp all sorts of other things: my house, my ride and, after the day I’ve had with them today, definitely my children. Who knows what sort of add-ons you could get for kids? Manners, kindness, aversion to sweets, THE ABILITY NOT TO THROW A TANTRUM FOR AN ENTIRE DAY?

But then I suppose if they weren’t my usual boys, warts and all, I wouldn’ t get the all-encompassing, life-affirming hugs that they give just when I need it most.

Nah. Send the Supernanny round now.

I’d take the services of the supernanny as well. (Although I have to say that I’m amazed at some of the kids on that show. Mine are not angels, but they aren’t that bad!)

    I love your new look!

Took the loves furniture shopping this weekend. Great idea. It was sheer magic trying to negotiate with the salesmen who are trying to fleece me for all I’m worth while the boys cling to the legs and whine. Hubby included.

I found you by tracking “Michele sent me” people. You are a great writer. Give yourself a self-APPRECIATING hug.

So, what’s your kid’s URL? He might have interesting stuff about Mom.
