Cheaper and cheaper

YO!
As you can see, I’ve pimped my blog.
Actually, my lovely husband had much to do with it. He’s a pretty useful sort to have around for I.T. matters, web design and the like.
Aside from these really useful skills, my husband also has another, marginally less useful skill: he can speed-read. I’m sure this serves him well, most of the time. I could certainly do with a bit of speed-reading know-how for the occasional ten seconds of reading time I get on the loo these days.
Occasionally, however, he mis-reads in his attempts to maintain speed. Last night was a perfect example: whilst fiddling about with my blog, he suggests putting buttons on things I want to link to and says to me “so for instance if you want to link to your ‘About Me paragraph: one self-depreciating paragraph at a time’…”
“One self-what?” I cut in. (My husband clearly hadn’t spent a lot of time reading my blog before last night.)
Perhaps that will be my next tag line: Ella M, self-depreciating one day at a time…
Devaluing, declining and deflating. One day at a time. Yup, that definitely sounds like me.

I’ve spent my whole life self-depreciating.
If your husband doesn’t read your blog very much at least you can write about him!
Your new design looks great. You’re very lucky to have a designer in the house!
Love the new look. You are so lucky to have someone to do all that for you. I wouldn’t have any idea where to start.
